Laurels Clip Art Set

My laurels were created in Illustrator. They have a variety of styles, so you can find one for every occasion. There are three sets: simple black outlines, so you can do with them what you will, colored clip art, and white, for use with chalkboard backgrounds.

This set includes sixty nine images in PNG format (transparent background) in varying sizes - they are all approx 6 inches at their widest point, but vary in height, all at 300 dpi.

New Scrapbooking Things: digital scrapbooking paper packs & vintage camera digital stamps

I've been a designing machine lately, and I've had a yen for some pretty digital scrapbooking paper packs to add to my Etsy shop.  I made these pretty paper packs!  They all feature similar patterns in different color palettes.  There's Berries and Coal digital scrapbooking paper pack, a raspberry, orange, dark grey palette.  Aqua Berry digital scrapbooking paper pack, a confection of bubble gum pink, raspberry, and sea side aqua.  Bold Primary digital scrapbooking paper pack makes me think of the circus and antiques.  It's fun and bold.  And they are all so very inspiring for design projects!

Digital scrapbooking papers are great for tons of design projects, including web design, printables, tags, banners for your blog.

My vintage cameras digital stamp set were created in Illustrator.  I gave them wobbly lines for a hand drawn look.  There are four unique cameras in this collection - a Rolleiflex, a Holga, a Polaroid Land Camera, and a Nikon SLR (less vintage than the others).  

This set includes four digital stamps in PNG format, sized around 6 inches at 300 dpi.  They are large and gorgeous!

Rachel White Too, Design Elements for Scrapbooking and Web Design

Today I decided to open up a second Etsy shop for my scrapbooking, clip art, digital stamps, and digital scrapbook papers.  (I just couldn't handle having them in with all of my handbags and quilts! The two things just don't go together.)  Hopefully having two Etsy shops will go very smoothly.  I wish Etsy would let you have two shops under the same account, but alas, they do not.  I can't even link up my Facebook and Twitter accounts.

I've reposted all of the designs I had in my original shop (with shiny, matching product photos), and I've added a couple new ones.

Birthday Presents Clip Art Set

First there's the Birthday Presents Clip Art set, consisting of six brightly colored wrapped presents in solids and polka dots.  I used these once for a bridal shower invitation, but they work just as well for birthday presents.

Baby Shower Gifts Clip Art Set

Next is the Baby Shower Gifts Clip Art set in three newborn baby colors - yellow, blue, and pink.  For the showers where you know the gender of the baby to be, and the ones where the mommy to be is keeping it a surprise.  There is a pile of alphabet blocks, a onesie, a teddy bear, a milk bottle, and a rattle.  There are fifteen images in all for this set.

The Retro Campers Digital Stamp Set is actually brand spanking new.  I just drew these a week or so ago.  There are four retro style campers in funky shapes, and two cacti, a tall one with arms and one of the stubby ball shaped ones.  I've got no idea what they're properly called.  I don't think I've ever even seen one in real life.  All of these elements are illustrated in a sleek, yet hand drawn style.  Look close and you'll see what I mean.  I really love this set.  :)

And finally there's the Lunar Phases Digital Stamp Set.  These are done in the same sleek, yet hand drawn style as the Retro Campers, and depict the eight phases of the moon.  These come in eight individual files, so they can be arranged as you please.

Oh, god, I'm so tired...

This digital stamp was not one of the suggestions from my prompt bucket.  (My prompt for today is 'shopping', and I'll get started on that as soon as I finish here.)  I just really like owls, and I like the idea of an owl listening to music, so I doodled this guy.

I think my favorite part of this digital stamp making thing is printing out the image and then coloring it in so people can see what it will look like as a finished product.  It's very soothing.

Reindeer Digital Stamp

My friend Megan, who makes awesome crafty cards, said, "Hey Rachel, why don't you make digital stamps?"  And I put on my frowny face and said, "What's a digital stamp?"  She explained, and I said, "Hm.  Let's try that!"

So yesterday I decided that I needed to have a plan.  A plan that I would stick with and would make the daunting prospect of diving headfirst into a crafting area I'd never explored not so daunting.  So I cut up some paper into tiny squares and wrote down a prompt on each of them.  Every day I will reach into my prompt bucket and draw whatever it says.  Today my prompt was reindeer.

I love his expression.  Its like he's saying, "WOT?" but he's also excited about it, because his tiny tail is wagging.

I printed him out and colored him with standard Crayola colored pencils, because I figured people would want to see what he could look like colored in.  It's prettier than seeing the watermarked line art.
